Life Safety Hazard / London.? I hope to go to London to study and I expect to stay at Passfield Hall, Bloomsbury, London WC1H 0PW. So I was wondering what is the area like? How secure is it? Are there concerns about the location gerneral?

Bloomsbury is one of the most historic, affluent areas of central London. It has a high student population that is based on UCL Gower Street and Malet Street at Birkbeck, and there are many dormitories nearby. Passfield Hall is an LSE student accommodation, is not it? If so, enjoy! LSE is a great uni:)
Passfield Hall is located close to Euston Road, if transportation links are excellent - many bus stops and subway stations (Kings Cross, Euston, Russell Square, etc.). He is a chemist and a supermarket Sainsbury's Boots near Warren Street station and many banks.
I have no concerns about staying there. I lived in the area for three years while in uniform and never had a problem. The area is busy all day and night because of its proximity to Tottenham Court Road, Soho and Charlotte St (with all its restaurants and bars).
The best advice I can give you is applicable everywhere in London, not just WC1. If you go out late at night or returning home after dark - take a taxi or make sure you have someone to walk with you. Do not shake your phone, your wallet or iPod, and do not carry more money than you need at any given time. This may seem obvious, but better safe than sorry.
I hope you enjoy your stay. It really is a great area - close to Soho with all its bars and restaurants, Camden for shopping and nightlife alternatives, and Oxford Street to Selfridges and other department stores. You are also within walking distance of the British Museum, Regents Park and Covent Garden. Perfect for exploring central London.
All of London is very safe. The only danger is mental damage accidentally Mail daily reading stories about the alleged dangers of London.
WC1H 0PW place looks expensive, so do not worry - you will not encounter a lot of fear poor people.
Bloomsbury is a fashionable district, unlike where I am! You'll be fine.
