COUNTDOWN TO THE CARIBBEAN CRUISES MSC ready for the exciting season with MSC Poesia cruise programs FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (September 14, 2009) - The countdown continues as MSC Cruises is preparing for an exciting 2009-10 Caribbean season that includes the much anticipated arrival of MSC Poesia in North American waters, a variety of themed cruises and interesting itineraries.
The Italian-owned line of the family brings the elegant MSC Poesia in Fort Lauderdale for a season with the itineraries of 3 -, 5 -, 7 -, 8 - and 10-night Caribbean and Bermuda during the winter before returning to Europe in spring 2010.
MSC Poesia features 1,275 cabins, of which 80% are outside staterooms and 65% have a balcony. There will be 2 pools and 4 spas, spa of 13,000 square feet, and four restaurants including a Sushi Bar theme.
MSC Poesia arrives in Fort Lauderdale Nov. 10, after a night transatlantic voyage from Venice-17. His season in the Caribbean will include:
- 5-night sailings: on Nov. 10 and Nov. 15
- itineraries of 10 nights - 20 November 30 November 10 December
- 7-night Christmas itinerary, departing Dec. 20
- 7-night New Year's itinerary, departing Dec. 27
- 7-night itineraries - a variety of routes of East and West 16 January to 10 April
- 7 night Bermuda itinerary - starting April 17, features 3 nights in Bermuda
- 3 night cruise to the Bahamas, starting April 24
MSC Poesia left Fort Lauderdale on April 27 on a 18-night trip to Hamburg.
