Can I recommend the hostel first trip to Wimbledon or my favorite, Central Travelodge Kingston upon Thames.

amended to add two weeks relaxing in London with one or two trips to the court side of Canterbury and Hampton is all that I do on the first trip.

on the second trip i would go north to Edinburgh thing, see Oxford, Stratford, Warwick, Shrewsbury, Conwy, Lake District, Carlisle, all the way from top to bottom.

on the third i would travel south of England, Leeds, Dover and all.

wow what a shopping list!

you can combine several of these places if you do it by bus tours from London ... eg
www.goldentours.co.uk/
www.evanevanstours.co.uk/
you would probably need to do three or four trips a day to include space on your list as Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stratford, Cotswolds etc., and another bus trip a day to Dover, Leeds Castle and Canterbury ... so that more than a week taken care of

to do all the things on your list of London would probably take another week

and then the icing on the cake is Edinburgh which would take more than a day to get there one day return, and you would need at least two days before you even begin to appreciate

So we are three weeks until now robust tourist

but you should expect at least some "chill out" days at least yo.
