Ottawa Jail / Hostel? I'm going to spend a night in the old Ottawa Jail, but before I make a reservation, I had a few questions ...
1 - Is food provided or should I bring my own?
2 - The cameras allowed?
3 - Is there a specific check in / check out?
With regard to question No. 2, the prison does allow cameras Hostel and I totally recommend going on one of the towers with Haunted Walks Ottawa.
I do not think there is a kitchen (I could be wrong), but the ByWard Market is a nice place for a meal and groceries abound.
Check-in/out time in most hostels in Canada is 10 for check-out for a recording, or 11 and 2.
