Ottawa Accommodation

Hello everyone, my wife and I are moving to Ottawa over the next two months. We do not know anyone there to stay with a friend is out of question.
Where can I find affordable housing to keep the course of my first days / weeks while I find a place in the longer term to live?
Does anybody know about a house or an inn where you can stay?

Instead of hostels, you should try to find a cheap hotel.
A large number of guesthouses and hotels offer the same price as the cheap ...

You can try asking motels if they give a monthly or weekly rate. They often do, and if you find one with a kitchen, then it's almost like an apartment, but you can get away with a minimum notice when you find a place to live.

Try Suites McKellar. I'm pretty sure that's where my colleague left, and it's right next to a shopping center (mall Carlingwood). The website confirms that the short-term rental is available.
