Orange Luggage

I am traveling from London to Orlando next week. I was told that due to security i will not be allowed to take food or drink in my luggage. I knew that the liquid is not allowed in hand luggage, but I thought I could in the luggage. can someone clarify this for me please?!

You may bring food past the security checkpoint and the luggage you check. You are not allowed to carry liquids through the security checkpoint. You are allowed to carry liquids in your checked baggage.

Why would you want? You can get chips and orange drink in Orlando! Do you think Florida is so far behind the rest of the world you need to pack your own snacks??

(The chips will be broken, and drinks can get into your clothes!)

You should be able to take in luggage well.

When I went from Manchester to Orlando, I was allowed to eat snacks that I bought after security in Manchester. Basically, you can not take your snacks through security, but if you buy chips and juice at the duty free, you will be allowed to take them on the map:)
