Nelson Accommodation

I'm hopefully going to Nelson, New Zealand, for the new year with a group of friends and I was wondering if anyone knows of any campsites that are reasonably affordable. We want to camp in a tent so it would be cheaper and preferably in its self Nelson. I looked up at the scene, but can not find many. If you know where I can see a good selection of camping or lodging cheap i would be very grateful:) thank you
