Has anyone ever been able to cancel a Hotel Priceline Name your own price for reservation? I have a reservation, but I'm really happy with the location. I know it's my fault for not looking more closely at the map to see what they consider to be downtown. But I was wondering if anyone has managed to cancel a reservation for Priceline name your own price hotel? Even a partial rebate would be a good thing.
Thank you.
Their entire political capital is fixed so there are no cancellations. You recognized in the fine print.
You accepted the terms in which it was purchased. Since you agreed to a "blind" in terms of the purchase price is not the mark or location, you have no recourse simply because you feel the location is not ideal.
One strategy is about it. Since your reservation is prepaid and thus guarantee, you can delay your check-in before the day of your arrival as possible. Sometimes overbooked hotels and if you arrive with a reservation guarantee pre-paid and they have no rooms left at the hotel you will have to find accommodation elsewhere.
