What is the best hotel or motel in Melbourne, Australia? I'm being planned in early December, and I want to find the best place to stay. All suggestions are welcome:)
rachtann suggested that the two hotels that came to my mind ...
I have stayed in both and can ensure they are amazing, opulent and a real treat to be able to stay in the game (If I had to choose between the two, I would say that with Langham view of the city and the river Yarra was my favorite ....)
It would depend on your budget, but often you can pick up cheaper rate and updated by Web sites competitive, last minute cancellations or take a chance on a mystery book (which is how I got the chance of being in the Langham.)

What is your budget?
If money does not have the option Langham has been voted best in Melbourne recently, but the Crown Towers and Park Hyatt are both excellent options.
The Langham, in the arts district, very central to the river and transport by tram is ideal for entering the city (2 mins) or outside in St Kilda and South Yarra.
The Crown Casino and many shops and entertainment venues there. The Park Hyatt is located at the top end of Melbourne, near parks, churches and theaters.
All are close to obtaining food places.
If you want something cheaper
The Punt Hill Apartments in Little Bourke Mantra or hotels are on the same standard. Clean, new but without that touch of luxury and tend to be in the middle of high traffic areas so they do not feel as relaxed. There are lots of options.
