Have anyone done a cruise with Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Seas? How was it? My boyfriend and I intend to make a booking with Royal Caribbean from the long beach of Baja Mexico but not sure how far the ship or the company compares to Carnival. Any advice? and what is Monarch of the Seas? What kind of activities do they have? how is the food? and crowds? etc. ect.
Monarch of the Seas is a nice, renovated a few years ago.
see royalcarribean.com

the monarch is one of the oldest, smallest ships (small reality, however). The food and service and entertainment will be good. The rooms are tiny, however. As the crowd etc, the general rule is that shorter cruises are more focused then part of longer cruises. As for activities, they have a dozen bars, a casino, nightly shows, mostly comedy, magic etc. In regard to the CCA or RCCL, they are roughly equal in quality.
The monarch is very nice. The vessel was completely renovated a few years ago and Royal Caribbean did a pretty good job of keeping their vessels Nice. I prefer Royal Caribbean over Carnival though. The monarch has a climbing wall, casino, pool, sports court, fitness center, arcade, whirlpools, bars, etc. There is 73,941 tons and holds 2,744 passengers and 858 staff members. The crowd is really going and you will probably no problem meeting people. The food is good, although I'm not a big fan of any food cruise LOL (I know strange). I would go again for you. Have a great time. Be sure to book shore excursions in the ports you go!
