Fifteen finalists beautiful Chinese and mixed Chinese have participated in the competition; Gaby Liu, Tan Huilin, Arnina Moore, Charmaine Galea, Joanna Hu, Candy Ong Hg, Marlene Lim Yu Winky Virginia, Jessie Yeung, Carmen Lee, Tanya Liew Vivian Zheng, Taylors Kervyn and Stephanie Smith. honorable judges, composed of Chinese Vice Consul General in Hong Zhang, Vice-Consul of Malaysia Mohamad Zam Zami, Senior VP Betty Lai Christmas Islanders Association, Executive Director of Global Broking Glenn Simpson and Vice-President of WA Trotting Association Des Parr.

The event was considered more important to the Chinese New Year celebration in town. There were Chinese products exhibition, ten harness racing, lion dances, "Cocobutter" fashion show, cultural show, raffles and fireworks to commemorate the event. Opening the show started with all the candidates parade in their own first creation of wear cheongsam showcase their talent to dance. The next segment is round swimwear and the event ended with the holding of evening where participants wore elegant evening gowns and Q & A segment.

The announcement of the winners took place at the main stadium of harness racing at Gloucester Park, with number one candidate Marlene Lim beat 14 other finalists to win the prestigious title of Miss Chinese WA 2010 in the grand final. Marlene Lim, a qualified pharmacist who is originally from the town of Miri in Sarawak, also won cash prizes of two thousand dollars plus other prizes. Marlene Lim will have the important task of Chinese culture on the international scene, promote and showcase the multi-racial harmony and cultural traditions of the Chinese race. Marlene was the first to go in the Q & A session and present a clear and strong voice that comes from this beautiful country of Malaysia. She asked if she could turn back time, what would she change and why.

"Sure, there are many things I want to change, but these are lessons and mistakes that have made me a better person today. Currently, I am proud and happy with what I am become and what I have done so if I could turn back the hands of time, I would not change anything. Thank you "she replied with a calm, but strong and confident.

It was a tie for runner-up. Contestant number four Arnina Moore and Joanna candidate number six, two from China, shared the first runner-up position and left with cash prizes thousand dollars each price and more. Miss Congeniality Chinese WA 2010 winner was the candidate number two, Tan Huilin Kuala Lumpur, candidate number eight Winky Virginia Yu Hong Kong won the Miss Popularity / Photogenic 2010 title. Each took home five hundred dollars cash prizes, hampers and other prizes.
