River Bike Tour of Mekong TOUR CYCLING MEKONG RIVER

Day 1: Saigon - Cai Be - Ben Tre - Vinh Long
8:00 we leave by bus to Cai Be. On arrival, we board the boat to visit the floating market and cruise on the mighty Mekong River in Dong Phu island. We start cycling one hour under the green canopy, exploring the orchards and daily life of residents. Lunch on the island. Then we cruise the Mekong to 1.5 hours by Cho Lach channels. After that we go to find nurseries and orchards. Then we sail again 1.5 hours to Ben Tre for the night. Home Overnight with local family.

Day 2: Ben Tre - Saigon
After breakfast, we leave at 4am bicycle back on small trail along the river, see daily life of people, feeling lost on winding road under cover of green coconut. Ben Tre coconut trees are popular in Vietnam. Upon his arrival in Ben Tre at noon time, we cruise on the branches of the Mekong and held in a peaceful canal. Visit an orchard island lunch with local delicacies, see the daily life of farmers and try exotic seasonal fruits unique to the region. Hammock siesta, then we cycle to explore this quiet area, call the workshop coconut-candy workshop and other craft (weather permitting) before returning to our bus. Back in Saigon. Trip ends in Saigon around 17:30.
