My only advice would be to stay on full board, it is much cheaper in the Maldives.

My husband and I were last year. The weather is perfect. It can be a bit too hot around December, I seriously suggest you bring cream SPF 30 + 15 + sun, because we do not really help. We paid for all inclusive. The food was the best. There are few restaurants like the Asian wok and place boat. we had a 5-course meal candle light range for $ 160 and nearly $ 28 for a plate of lobster in the boat. you do not really need to buy lots of shops if you bring shoes Reef snorkeling sets and enough sun cream. for 2 weeks we spent most of our money on travel.
