How to Make a Denim Pouch Pocket for those Webkinz How to make a pocket Denim Pocket for Webkinz
Do you have a bunch of those webkinz that you want to display? .. Rather than having them all piled on a shelf or on the bed or stuffed in boxes, on the day they become more valuable, why not display them on your wall?
All you need are an old pair of denim jeans size adult. (Those with big enough pockets back), a good pair of scissors and some imagination for decorating.
Make sure the jeans are clean, then cut around the back pockets, cutting through all layers of the seat of the jeans.
You should have formed a pocket where you can place your special webkinz or StuffIt. Now, go back to your jeans, and cut the inseam of the jeans of any length you want, as it is for your support. I cut 18 inches, but you can do more or less long, if you have enough sewing Jean.
Sew the edges of the seam on each side of your pocket and your pocket and then decorate with paint, beads, applique, patchwork, denim fringe, use your imagination. This is a great craft for teens or older children. Then hang them on the wall with a thumbtack or colored hook, then put your webkinz in the pocket.
This may hold other things beside your stuff or favorite webkinz, it can also hold supplies, hair clips, hair brush, bits and pieces. Do some of them and hang on your wall.
