Make Up Bag Essentials

Essential oils are useful for a variety of purposes. They can be used for medical or healing of the mind, for example. Most people buy their oil in small bottles ready for use. However, sometimes you can make your own essential oils.

sweet almond oil can be used as a base for essential oils. It is best if it is combined with vitamin E, because it is a natural preservative. To make a small amount of essential oil, use half a cup of sweet almond oil with vitamin E.

Choose the type of essential oil that you want to do. This usually depends on plant matter what you have at hand. If you have a garden of roses, you may want to make rose oil. With a herb garden, you could make oil of thyme or oregano oil. If you have essential oils in the winter, you can use citrus peel, like lemon or grapefruit. To begin to make essential oils, take your plant material and put it in a plastic bag. Start with a cup of tight flowers. Or, use a quarter cup of packaged herbs or chopped fruit peel. Close bag.

Press the bag with a hammer or a kitchen mallet to bruise a little matter. To do this gently so as not to turn your vegetable matter into mush. You want the oils of the plant material must leave a little bit. This is the basis of your essential oils.

Then it's time to put the contents of the bag in a jar with wide mouth with sweet almond oil. Put a top on the pot and stir gently until all ingredients are well mixed. Make sure the plant material is saturated. The essential oil will start to form. It takes time for the essential oils extracted from plant matter in this way. So let your pot in a warm place for the rest of the day. This will give time to permeate the natural oils of sweet almond oil.

The second day, put some more cheese from the lips of a second wide mouth jar and pour the mixture into the jar first by itself and in the second pot. At this point, you do not need the first batch of plant material you have collected. Take along the gauze.

For the next three days, repeat the same procedure, using a different cup of flowers or a quarter cup of fruit or chopped fresh herbs. Always strain the mixture through cheesecloth before in a clean jar. This will ensure that your pure essential oils.

When all these steps are completed, you have made your essential oil. Simply put in the bottle and it will be good for six to twelve months when you need it. To bottle, strain through cheesecloth one last time. Then pour into a funnel in small dark bottles. Close the top with plugs.
