If the ticket is a ticket to the Philippines, your luggage should go straight. If you have purchased tickets separately (ie Oslo Amsterdam Amsterdam to Manila) then you may need to once again check in Amsterdam. I checked baggage through separate tickets by PHL and MAN. Airlines have been USAirways and SAS. Although I made my own connection to 2 tickets, showing the flight during registration, airline agents checked my luggage throughout my last airport.
