Devil's Punchbowl Natural Area
This is a unique nature preserve located along Big Rock Creek. It gets its name because it is basically a large concave bowl-shaped land, herded by 300 feet high rock walls. Getting to the bottom of Devil's Punchbowl, a hike of a mile. Along the way, you can see some wild animals native to the Antelope Valley: snakes, birds of prey, lizards and others. Admission to the park is free and is open daily.


Joe Davies Heritage Airpark
Joe Davies is an Aerospace Museum is adjacent to the United States Air Force Plant 42, a research center for military aircraft. At Joe Davies, you will see various new and historic aircraft on display.

Dry Town Water Park
During the dry season, heat can be oppressive. Cool off in the park to dry water city, where the whole family can have fun in the water slides and pools.

The outbreak of the Great Western School
If what you crave an adrenaline rush is mixed with beautiful scenery, go to the Great Western and fly a plane without a motor sail most of the San Andreas fault and pines of the San Gabriel Mountains. You will be helped by an FAA certified flight instructor. Prices start at $ 96 dollars.

St. Andrew's Abbey
If you're interested in learning about some of the history and culture of Palmdale, check the Benedictine monastery. St. Andrews is situated amidst 760 acres of greenery and natural sources. There is also a ceramics workshop, tiles of saints and angels on sale, all designed by Father Maur Van Doorslaer, Belgium. In the fall, there is the annual festival at the Abbey, where visitors can buy delicious food and enjoy music and singing.
