What should I wear for skiing in Lapland (minus 22 degrees Celsius?)? Can anyone advise me on what to wear skiing in Lapland (Levi)? I'm used to downhill ski resorts that are not really extreme temperatures. I do not think my existing ski clothes will be hot enough, what can you recommend?
If you do not often go to Lapland and I presume you're not why not go to your ski shop and rentals of local extreme weather gear they wil be able to advise after all, they are the experts.
layers are important, you must make sure that you have layers wick - so the chances of you actually ski in -22 is rare because they are near the lifts around this time
ski equipment that you will be fine, but you just need a few more layers, that's all, so do not worry about the sunglasses if you go before February, but you'll need glasses, too get a neck too
Take a look here what to wear in Lapland

you'll love levi but remember, no peaks of 3000 meters there is the highest peak is at 718 meters and that, s in Yllas
I would say many, many layers. Wear shirts and pants like 4 plants. On top of that wear ski pants and a good winter coat. To boot, however, many socks is not essential. Wear a pair of socks wick dry socks in ski hot. Bring a pair and change when you take a break for lunch. I would invest in a good pair of gloves, and maybe wear a pair of light (like that of cheap dollar store) gloves under a pair of thick gloves or mittens.
