COLOR
Feng Shui colors have multiple uses. Each color has its meaning living area and its own energy.

Choice of color: In different colors have different Feng Shui energy "sense". Some are very suitable for children's rooms, some very well either.
Good choice:

You can always add accents of red, pink or other colors. Use your artistic sensibility and design. Just avoid the whole room that way.
Space, size & INVESTMENT

STUFF
I know you've been waiting for this one.
Many children today live in a constant state of overwhelm. Helps maintain a personal space (his room) that supports a balanced approach rather than adding to the chaos. (Be realistic, though. It is a matter of degree. Some chaos is a normal condition for most pre-teens and teenagers. Think.)
Start the conversation early. Help your children learn the difference of what they want and what they really need and really use.
