Laguna Phuket

I must use my Starwood points, so I have to choose between these two. I'm looking for peace and quiet after a walk in town, the options for food near a private beach and b / c I hear the locals can be annoying to some tracks? help??

To answer your first question: Which hotel is more romantic honeymoon? On the surface, Sheraton Laguna Phuket can appear for a couple on honeymoon because of its isolated location, nicer facilities and SOA specificaaly for a honeymoon.
Le Meridien Phuket is more than 20 years and therefore it has an architecture quite old and smaller rooms. Some of the wings at Le Meridien underwent renovations and others have not. The knowledge of the hotel.

Now, decide otherwise. If you want to travel to the city. Le Meridien is definitely better. It is located only 5-15 minutes from Patong and area of the city. Taxi fares outside the Le Meridien Hotel in Patong or commercial sector is about 100 baht for Thais and maybe 300 or less for western tourists. So you can make as many trips to the city you want, without financial or time. You can also leave food in the town of Patong and as often as you like. Le Meridien has a gentler slope, and the broader private beach. Sheraton can have a private beach (not sure), but the waves and the slope is not as safe as Le Meridien. And the beach of Le Meridien is probably the best beach on the other hand, the second in Kata Noi Beach, this side of the island.

If you want to spend the most time in the hotel compound and does not mind the mediocre beach at the Sheraton, then perhaps good for you. But if you want a better beach and city tours and a decent hotel room (try to get the best spot here) and Le Meridien is a better option.

Based on the location, Le Meridien. This is a beautiful private beach and yet close to two areas of Patong and Karon beach.
However, there is a new hotel under construction just next to the Meridien Patong and your sleep may be disturbed by noise.
(Sorry, I mean why sleep for honeymooners ??!!) \

I do not recommend or hotel for you. I would say you should visit another country for your honeymoon. You know the locals here are so boring.
