Jumeirah Beach Dubai

I am planning to visit Dubai for 4 nights on February 26, 2008. Would you recommend staying in Bur Dubai or is it better to stay closer to Jumeirah Beach? I would like to see the beach and town / commercial areas ... About how much would cost a taxi to get them? (Euro if possible)

Jumeirah beach is much better than Bur Dubai and you will be very close to the best resturants & shopping centers
The hotels are very expensive in Jumeirah but I rent an apartment 1BR (excellent views and furniture) for about 140 euros per day

better stay in Bur Dubai.

for travel, u can use the bus station in Bur Dubai. hotels such as Ramada, worth ur money. to get a fair idea abt shopping and the city, u can collect brochures from the bus station bur Dubai.

Well, I was born in Dubai, so I know a lot of Dubai. Just stay in Dubai and you can go the highest hotel in the world, Burj Al Arab and it is really close to Jumeirah Beach. Please.

Jumeirah Beach: Nice, more expensive
Bur Dubai: Even worse, cheaper

I would say the Jumeirah beach, my cousin went there for vacation and it seemed a really nice place to visit =)
