Island Inn

looking for a good place to stay in the vineyard marthas, wondering if the Oak Bluffs Inn Island would be a good choice. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs

I was not, but here are some comments from people who have been there.

Very dissatisfied

We requested a non-smoking room at the inn on the island. Instead, we entered a room reeking of smoke. When I asked to change rooms, I was suddenly told that there were no other rooms available and has never offered a discount. We stayed out of the room as much as possible, because it smelled so bad, and used several cans of Lysol to try to get rid of the smell. Some of the furniture was broken, so we had to keep our children away from him, and music from the disco kept us awake all night. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

For the most part, our stay at the hostel on the island was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect ... very close to Oak Bluffs Center, minutes by car from Edgartown and very close to the beach. Just a few warnings ..... the double room we stayed in, well presentable and clean, could use an overhaul ... especially in the bathroom. The tile was missing tiles and is largely outdated. Also, if you plan to spend time on the swing with children, make sure you bring insect repellent since mosquitoes are brutal. Finally, the TV does not come in very clearly with the exception of a few basic channels if you're planning a trip to retirement catch up on some movies and TV shows, you can ask the staff before booking if n has been corrected.



First Dog Holiday Corey

First day / night the room next to us was occupied by 2 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 large dogs. The children knocked on the day of the walls and nighttime awakenings Corey dog.
Adults 2 dogs tied to the post outside the room during the day Corey dog could not use that door.
The next 2 nights neighbors were 2 adults and 2 large dogs that have never been linked to the outside and everything was good in the world.
Excellent location, beautiful grounds clean, who loved Corey Dog, clean room, very friendly staff, we hope to return soon.

We loved our room was a studio regular
and it was clean and very quiet ... We enjoyed our stay. He was on the side edge of Oaks Bluffs, but it was still close enough for a long walk to the beach that wish was closer, but overall we get back .. rate 90,00. . It is expensive for a studio not the $ 90.00 they now show a price now. We paid $ 500. for two nights
But it was July 4th week, but no studio is so much money ........
