Hostels in Perth, Australia Hello
Me and my partner are off to sunny Oz in October, we looked at hostels on the web at Perth (Our first stop), they seem to be quite expensive to find out where and what they are?
Does anybody know of cheap hostels and decent? We would like to have a double private ensuite neccesery not ....
Thank you!
Hello, my sister and I will also arrive in Perth in October where we spent some time looking at the inns. Beatty Lodge (you can find or hostelworld.com hostelbookers.com) is very cheap compared to everyone else, I wrote that it is $ 25 for a private twin, but that could be wrong. They have internet, pool, laundry facilities and is apparently very own (unfortunately not including breakfast but I am sure you will get by). Let me see if I can find a link. http://www.beattylodge.com.au/
Comfort Hostel also does not seem too expensive. Obviously you'll pay a bit more around but if you want a twin private.

Thats where I went when I booked hostels when traveling in Europe. But getting a private double will be expensive compared to sharing a room like having four people in a room or something. It will be cheaper. But if you want a double room, you can try to find a hotel in the region and divide the two of you and it might be cheaper, worth seeking, but hostels in some areas may run a lil more expensive .
Join the hostel, they have two excellent hostels in Perth, an abundance of doubles, of course, you shared bathroom and cooking facilities, 1 is right next to downtown.
Go to this site: http://www.backpackersintperth.com/ #
Its run by three of the most beautiful people you are ever going to meet (Andy and Belinda, a married couple Andy and Fiona's sister), its always clean, welcoming and safe. Close to nightlife and the city is a ten minute walk or free bus away.
Maybe a litle bit more expensive than your run of the mill hostel, but it's worth it!
It has a free breakfast put out every day and 24 hour tea, coffee and milk also included in the price. A machine with water filter for drinking water.
Foxtel (just do not expect to get anywhere near the TV when Westcoast Eagles play Aussie Rules! Andy chew your leg lol), 3 computers with internet access, public telephone keypad, security lockers for articles value, smoking area, DVD / video, balcony with beautiful view, barbecue, laundry, large kitchen and lounge.
I arrived in Perth with the intention of staying three weeks and 8 months!
On the site go to goodtimes, top left photo, a young girl in pink on the phone with the girl behind the camera lol thats me!
