What is safe / good hostels in Montreal Canada?

I hoped they would all be relatively safe.

What makes you think they are not?

This is not South Central Los Angeles or Brooklyn NY you know!

I was there during the summer of 05, I do not think this change has lately .. it was really good (as usual I do not think there is some bad hostel ... at least I've never been against one) and safely. This is actually the center so you get very close so it's a good place when you want to visit Montreal.
