What it's like to live in a hostel in Auckland City? I now compare the advantages and disadvantages of living in a private apartment and live in a room in a hostel. Any information / comments on Auckland YWCA hostel on Vincent Street would be even better.
well, not bad
YWCA is very good, all women and safe, but you might get a few good lesbians remain there and that might bother some people.
Hostels are much the same as everywhere else in the world, YHA are generally quieter and people are less likely to be party animals coming in a lot of noise in the middle of the night, etc. depends on what you want a private apartment will be the safest to not have to lock your belongings all the time and you are free to use the bathroom on your own, etc., but it could also be alone, so it depends what you enjoy. If you choose an apartment, but need company to join meetup.com and then go out and meet other people.
Well, if you do not mind living community, a hostel is. Just keep in mind that you must share the TV room, kitchen, bathroom and possibly your bedroom with other people every day, every day. If you're cool with it, a hostel is beautiful. You meet new people all the time.
As for me if I get a flat.
