We intend to go to Hobart and visit ... we are looking for a good packers out there in Hobart.

Hotel Montgomery City YHA has accommodation and reasonably priced private rooms, but have not stayed there since I moved here.

You can also try the Adelphi, just north of the city but very well placed for North Hobart, who has the best restaurants and pubs

Many pubs also have rooms
