Visa and passport:

Non-Egyptian visitors arriving in Egypt should be in possession of a valid passport. Entry visas can be obtained from diplomatic and consular missions abroad or the Ministry of entry visa at the Travel Documents, Immigration and Nationality Administration (TDINA). It is possible for most tourists and visitors to obtain an entry visa to one of the major ports of entry. Please check with your nearest Egyptian Consular mission for more details concerning visa regulations applicable to your nationality. The visa form must then be completed either by printing and filing it in or via a graphics editor and sent to the nearest embassy or consulate of Egypt. Visitors entering Egypt at the overland border post to Taba to visit Gulf of Aqaba coast and St. Catherine can be exempted from visa and residence permits were issued free of fourteen days to visit the region.
