Are stations in the Dominican Republic gay friendly? My partner and I are planning a trip for next April and wondered if the stations are gay friendly, from what I read, it doesn't sound very encouraging. We do not really intend to leave the station or something like that, I wonder about the stations themselves.
I live in New York but I travel a lot in the Dominican Republic and yes there are people gays, just as there are in the United States. If you are staying in a hotel you will have no problem and even if you mingle with the locals, I do not foresee a problem, you probably look great if you dress like a woman or your partner start kissing in the street.
There is no such place as "the Dominican Republic" ... it is the Dominican Republic and is dominated ... but not Dominican, I can not answer your question
NOW ... if your question was about the Dominican Republic ... then I can tell you, I lived in Santo Domingo for almost 2 years and I would certainly say that the carpet is not out of people obviously gay ... act normal and you should be OK ... camp and there you will have problems
You should have no problem in your community, they want money from everyone gay or straight just to avoid demonstrations of affection in public is in bad taste for straight or gay.
there will be no problems people are so nice it much here:)
