What cruise line would be best for a masc gay couple looking to have fun time, relax without problems? Trying to book a cruise for my significant other and me, but we are not usually the typical "gay" scene. We hesitate to go on a cruise all gay, so I'm trying to figure out what other cruise lines would be better without fear of harassment or looks because we're gays. We did not kiss or do anything in public, I do not see a problem, but it would be nice to know an opinion on this cruise are more accepted.
Hey J March My suggestion would be Royal Caribbean. On my last cruise, we met a couple and they were the funniest two guys ever. And I know the team of Royal Caribbean is impressive and makes them feel like they were no different, and why did they do this because there is no difference. WE are all people and should be able to have the same kind of pleasure without feeling excluded. I know they have been treated very kindly received their pictures taken together in the night and it's not formal. Just normal people. I'd even bet that some of the crew would be facing the same sex! Whichever cruise line you choose I hope you have a great time and just have fun with whatever you like, there's something really romantic and seductive on a cruise. Bon Voyage!
I've been on many cruises on cruise lines and many have seen men and women traveling together some wonder if they were a couple. But I've never seen anyone get rough with them or treat them as anything but everyone is treated well. So just select a cruise line well as Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, Royal or Caribbean. You'll be fine.
ummm, take a cruise gay and u could close ur eyes joke, ud be at the top of the hill, unlike a regular cruise, no offense, but ud be at the bottom
My partner and I were on Royal Caribbean and Princess (Tahitian Princess). We were treated very well by both the crew and other passengers and always met with other gay couples on each tour. On the ship, Royal Caribbean (Rhapsody of the Seas), we met with several crew members who were "family" and we were treated very well - bottles of wine and champagne sent to our cabin. Seating in the dining room is "crap shoot one. We only had one bad experience where we were with a table of people who were traveling together and a couple of older men were slightly homophobic - but their wives are not. The butler was no problem for us to move to another table, which ended up being fine. One of the best places to do research is on cruisecritic.com. Click on "advice" on top and just start looking. People begin discussions for a particular cruise, they are going and you can get useful information. If you scroll down a bit, there is a section called "special interest cruises" with a "Gay & Lesbian Cruisers" section. We love going on cruises and reluctant to go on a cruise all gay as RSVP. Although we have friends who went to several and love. We are also trying to get a balcony cabin at the stern. The balconies are generally deeper and points of view are much better because you can see around it. Happy cruising!
Try Holland America. This is an older audience. Really good service and excellent cuisine. For a few dollars more, you can dine in the Pinnacle Grill offers the best food anywhere and you do not have to share a table with a bunch of other couples. My wife and I do not like sitting in the dining room with a group of strangers at the table, so we usually get room service for dinner. Holland America offers the full menu for dinner room service order not to miss anything by doing it this way and there is no additional charge. I think people are pretty accepting these days, nobody appreciates the demonstrative behavior-ga.
