Galveston Hotels

I'll be in Glaveston in June for four nights. If possible, I'd stay as close to Pier 21 as I can. Any reccomendations for hotels would be appreciated. I do not mind spending money as long as it's worth it. Just do not want to get stuck in a place with a bad room. Thank you!

I can not advise going to Galveston at all. The place is so dirty and crime mounted. I went there a few years ago and left early. The only hotel that looked pretty from the outside was the Hotel Galves. There are no beaches because of the dike. You do not want to consider another location?
