Go Louisville, KY what to do for adults, we will stay for 3 nights Galt House in June? We are currently planning the 4th street at night, where can we eat and what to do during the day? Are there any wineries in the region, which also Cassin River should we go?
Regarding where to eat, I'd say Lynn's Paradise Cafe (especially for breakfast) at 984 Barret Ave. Two regions with high concentration of good restaurants are Bardstown Road and Frankfort Avenue. He is the Irish Rover to 2319 Frankfort Ave. Mexican Restaurant and El Mundo, 2345 Frankfort Ave. Bardstown Road is often called "Restaurant Row" and many offerings. Two upscale restaurants include Jack Fry in 1007 Bardstown Rd & Metro Cafe at 1700 Bardstown Rd. It is also the popular Bristol Bar & Grille 1321 Bardstown Rd to
Regarding what to do during the day, the Louisville Slugger Museum and glass are opposite each other at 8 and Main (4 blocks west of the Galt House), Frazier International History Museum is at the 9th & Main (5 blocks west), the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts is one block west of the hotel, and theater actor is a block east. Louisville Slugger Field is 6 blocks from the hotel, and there may be a baseball game scheduled. There's also the Speed Art Museum at the University of Louisville campus on S. Third St.
If you are interested in history, two historic houses may be of interest. Farmington is located off of Bardstown Rd just north of I-264 and Locust Grove is off Blankenbaker Lane south of River Road.
The closest local winery Huber Orchard & Winery is a few miles to Starlight, Indiana.
The casino only area Louisville is on the side and Indiana, Indiana Caesar. The game on the east side of Kentucky on horse racing at Churchill Downs, which also has the next Kentucky Derby Museum.
We spent several days in Louisville last summer. Unfortunately, a huge storm closed roads near the river so that our visits have been shortened.
