French CampsitesWhat to expect on campsites in France

A camping trip is for the French, probably the most popular type of family vacation to be taken; relaxation, with many activities, and in the countryside. Families choose a campsite for its location, facilities, and its atmosphere. Brochures statements as factual information as possible so you can Camping Atlantic at Beg Meil, for example, offers a very wide range of activities from football, archery, water polo, etc., as well as sports water than adults can join in as well. Palmyra Recreation Camping in Royan has a "circus school" where children of all ages can learn tricks of circus (juggling, balance, etc.), and children on a weekly program for parents. This is very popular. They are just two examples. Camping Chateau des Ormes in Dol de Bretagne and Camping Ty-Nadan Arzano to offer more specific activities such as karting, paintball, zipline adventures and trees and there is a charge to participate. If your kids want a daily adventure, then these two campsites are both very popular with our regular customers.

Evening entertainment. Each campsite has a bar where you can meet in the evening with other guests. In addition, during July and August is generally the area where evenings are held. This can range from nightclubs to the family at a party with a magician, live music, karaoke, etc., but always sought to provide enjoyment for families because in July and August, it is especially families that are on the campgrounds.

Cooked meal service. All our campsites provide this service. Two or three "Plats du Jour" (today's) will be prepared so that if you do not want to cook, buy food to take home to enjoy mobile. You can buy just a bowl of chips (very useful if you have a salad and want something warm with it) or you can buy a plate of fish or meat with vegetables. It is a very useful service and offered a very easy dinner.

Camping stores. They are generally very good and will save you the need to go off using a shop every day. As you can imagine that they stock with fresh croissants, pain au chocolate and baguettes in the morning so you can enjoy a continental breakfast very good start. They also store all day to day items you need, as well as fresh vegetables, fruits and cheeses. They also offer a choice of good wine and beer, and they usually have several bottles of wine at a very reasonable price.

Locations. This is the area you are provided for your stay at the campsite. If you are staying in a mobile home, you can park your car beside your mobile home and there will be room for your table and chairs so you can have most of your meals out, if that you want to do. Eating out one of the pleasures that makes this type of holiday so attractive.

Laundries. Each camp normally has a small laundry with at least one washing machine and dryer and a charge is made for their use. An iron and ironing board is generally provided as well. I hope that you will not do much washing, but the little that needs to be done, it's easier if there is a laundry on site.

Evening access. For reasons of safety and noise most of the campgrounds operate a barrier that goes around 22.30 in the evening and are normally not raised until about 8:00 the next morning. That means i.
